Find out whether you would notice.
A penetration test asks where the weaknesses are. A red team engagement asks whether an adversary could reach what matters most to your business — and whether your people, processes and monitoring would catch them on the way. We run it as a controlled exercise with clear objectives, strict rules of engagement and a de-brief your whole security organisation learns from.
What we test
- Objectives agreed with leadership: the systems, data or outcomes that must be protected
- Written rules of engagement, safety limits and a named point of contact throughout
- Realistic adversary profile matched to your sector and threat landscape
- Coverage across technology, process and awareness — not just the network
- Coordination with your defenders (purple-team style) when that is the goal
- Detection and response measured against each phase of the exercise
What you get
- Timeline of the engagement mapped to what your monitoring did and did not see
- Findings with business impact, root causes and remediation priorities
- Detection and response recommendations for your blue team or SOC provider
- Executive de-brief for leadership and a technical de-brief for engineers
- Optional follow-up exercise to confirm improvements
Who it is for
Organisations that already run regular penetration tests and want to know whether their overall security programme works under pressure: exchanges and custodians, fintechs, SaaS providers with sensitive customer data, and enterprises preparing for regulatory resilience testing such as DORA TLPT.
Safety first
Everything happens inside agreed boundaries. Critical production actions are simulated or coordinated, not executed, and a stop condition is always one message away.
How an engagement runs
Scope
We agree targets, rules of engagement and what success looks like — in writing, before anything starts.
Recon
We map your full attack surface the way an adversary would, not just the assets you remembered to mention.
Exploit
We attempt real exploitation and chain small weaknesses into business-level impact.
Report
You get prioritised findings, proof-of-concept and remediation steps a developer can act on today.
Retest
We verify every fix so issues stay closed — and you get a clean report to show customers.
Questions about red teaming
Red team or penetration test — which do we need?
If you have never had a thorough pentest, start there; a red team on an untested environment just confirms the obvious. If you test regularly and want to know whether detection and response hold up, a red team is the right next step.
How long does a red team engagement take?
Usually four to eight weeks including planning, execution and de-briefs. The exact length depends on objectives and how stealthy the exercise needs to be.
Does our security team know in advance?
Leadership and a small control group always know. Whether the wider security team is informed depends on what you want to measure — we help you decide.
